SACCA is running a livelihood program and we support youth from streets and vulnerable families who dropped out of school because of inability to meet the school needs and requirements so that they have a livelihood that aims at sustainability.
This is achieved through provision of support in short vocational courses (culinary Arts, Hair dressing, and Masonry) that easily enable self-employment or easy access to jobs and empowering them in Agribusiness (hot culture) and running small business. We greatly appreciate WJR- UK based for injecting the financial support in the livelihood program. The outcome of this program is outstanding and remarkable because the participants have direct improvement in the income and therefore improved livelihood.
All work in SACCA is made faster because we have our own car and transport to reach families of children is easier. It is more difficult to areas where the car cannot reach but we hire motorbikes for effective service delivery in our areas of operation. Now we have a new car donated to SACCA by Deborah through WJR, therefore able to reach more children and youth we support in our programs. Not forgetting to thank again Deborah and WJR for their endeavour to lead to the positive life change of the vulnerable children and youth in Rwanda using the support through SACCA
